Our Story
We launched RushGideon in 2004 with our first catalog featuring a unique array of high quality treasures for the home and garden. We started with a handful of items, but quickly grew our offerings to many hundreds.
We founded RushGideon with the belief that the market place wanted something a little different - an uncommon collection of products from around the world, a convenient and entertaining shopping experience and customer service that is truly extraordinary and personal. What's in a Name
Using experience and knowledge harvested from 20 years of advising other companies on how to connect with consumers and to improve operations, we left our corporate homes to found RushGideon. We wanted not only to fill a need in the market place, but to create a business that reflects our values and beliefs.
In fact, we named the business after the grandfather of one of our founders because he reminds us of an era gone-by - a time when ethics and morality were important in business. Rush Gideon was a retailer 100 years ago and passed his lessons on to today's generation.
Today RushGideon is committed to the old fashioned way of doing business rooted in honesty, respect, compassion, and fairness. We think character counts and we think our customers think so too.
Our Location
RushGideon's office and warehouse is in Des Moines, Iowa. This
